In this time of the world, we are reminded of the need to connect across borders and cultures — just as the Silk Road once carried voices, stories, and melodies that wove people together.
Baaz Avaz: On the Silk Road brings the sounds of erhu, qanun and pipa into dialogue with Persian dramatic storytelling and dance — ancient at their roots yet close to us in their contemporary. It is an invitation to share in that spirit of exchange and encounter, where music and storytelling open new spaces of belonging.
